Rebellion PAC Joins the Tech Industry’s October Surprise

In an October Surprise that will shake the tech industry, the developers behind the most popular video games in the world have united to send a message to all the gamers out there: VOTE.

338 game developers (behind titles including The Sims, Mass Effect, and Grand Theft Auto) have added their names to an open letter urging gamers to vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Today, Rebellion PAC Executive Director (and Gamergate veteran) Brianna Wu helped amplify that message with an ad that helps sounds the alarm in the final days before the election.

The petition calls out the Trump administration’s conspiracy theories, failed policies, and complete inability to govern. With the economy in shambles, COVID deaths on the rise, and a constant barrage of disinformation, the choice in this election couldn’t be clearer. Or, as they put it: “America’s not playing that game.” The open letter (posted on www.october-surprise.com) speaks directly to gamers, and calls on developers to add their name to the list.
