Rebellion PAC Endorses Nina Turner for US Congress

This is one of the proudest endorsements we at Rebellion PAC have made yet. Former Ohio state senator and co-chair of Bernie Sanders 2020 presidential campaign, Nina Turner, has filed paperwork to run for Congress. She has not yet formally announced her candidacy but we would like to say ahead of time we are thrilled to endorse her.

Turner has been a fierce public servant for years. Since she first served on the Cleveland city council in 2006, she has fought for social justice, equality, and decency in all of her policies throughout her career, including as a state Senator and the Democratic candidate for Ohio Secretary of State. Once elected, she will continue to advocate for Universal Health Care, a $15 Minimum Wage, environmental justice, and the eradication of systemic racism by rebuilding our criminal justice system.

She is a progressive powerhouse, and we can’t think of anyone better to fill the vacancy of Marcia Fudge’s seat. In Turner’s own words: "It's not just about who has the best ideas," she said. "It's about who can excite." We are excited, and you should be, too.
